Shipping & Returns
To achieve & maintain good
customer relations, we have written this policy so, you
the customer, can be informed as to what we can and
cannot do.

the following changes]
Due to Canada
Post Price Increases we need to publish prices as
thus: $12.00 Pistols(Used to be $11.00)/$24.00 Air Gun
Rifles (used to be $22.00)/$29.00 Air Rifes w/ Pumps or
extra long (used to e $27.00). Thes prices include:
Insurance and Signature.
X-Press Post
BC/Alberta/MB/Sask--$8.00--$12.00 to the rest of Canada
Pellets: Up to 4 tins can fit inside an Express Post
Envelope $8.00 to BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan;
$12.00 to the rest of Canada.
Freight charges:
For most places in Canada (10 provinces) we have a
$24.00 per Rifle( Rifles with pumps or extra long
$29.00) $12.00 per Pistol Flat Rate
For all other product purchases, a quote for freight (if
it exceeds $20.00) will be calculated and submitted by
email to the customer for approval before the order is
processed

For our Canadian customers we ship Canada Post
Expedited, unless a different carrier is requested per a
customer's account with that company.
For our US customers we will ship Canada Post Xpress &
UPS. If the items are shipped out of country all
brokerage/duties/taxes remain the responsibility of the
purchaser.
[Taxes]
PST applies only for sales in British Columbia
GST applies to all purchases in Canada only
GST/HST Applies for sales in Maritimes.
[Return Policy]
Shooting Equipment: To protect our customers from
getting a sampled or internally damaged gun - we do not
accept the return of
any shooting equipment (ie: guns, bows). We will however
fully cover any defective shooting equipment under
manufacturers warranty.
[NOTE: Bows &
guns vary from each individual manufacture according to
their manual.]
We at Specialty Shooting Sports Outdoors want our
customers to be completely confident that each & every
item they purchase is 100% new, not previously owned and
returned. This is the reason for our strict policy. It
is based upon many years of retail sales experience
where we have identified instances of misuse (ie:
dry-fire resulting in internal damage to the piston
seals of guns, or limbs of bows).
Problems may not
be apparent immediately but may be realized sometime in
the near future beyond warranty coverage. We hope that
after the explanation of our policy it will become clear
to our valued customers how important these concerns
are.
Non Shooting Equipment Returns: Refunds or
exchanges may be made within 30 days on all other new in
package, unused merchandise.
The following guidelines must be adhered to:
Call or e-mail
for a Return Authorization number, a return form will be
e-mailed to you, to be filled out and returned with the
product.
The original receipt must be enclosed in the parcel.
The item must be unused & in original packaging.
Shipping charges/brokerage fees or any additional
costs incurred to Specialty Shooting Sports Outdoors
will not be reimbursed, if item was shipped on a FREE
FREIGHT program the original shipping will be deducted
from any refunds.
Items must be returned via prepaid insured freight.
Specialty Shooting Sports Outdoors will not accept any
responsibility of any kind, if items are not returned
via insured freight.
We can not accept any goods returned via COD freight.
If it was a gift that was unsuitable we can exchange
the product, or give a credit towards your next
purchase. Refunds can only be issued with an original
receipt).
A credit will be issued in the amount of the purchase
price plus taxes paid to Specialty Shooting Sports
Outdoors in the same manner it was paid (ie: Master Card
returned on Master Card).
[Manufacturer's Warranty]
Because we live
in an imperfect world, at times a defective product will
be released from the manufacturer. In these instances,
we will replace a new item for the defective item to our
customer. We ask for the
following procedures to be adhered to:
Call or e-mail within a week of receiving the
defective product to receive a Return Authorization form
& follow the instructions.
Upon receiving the defective product back, Specialty
Shooting Sports Outdoors will immediately ship you at
our cost the replacement item in exchange for the
defective item. If for some reason that particular item
is out of stock or discontinued, we will issue a full
refund or an exchange of another item of equal value --
customer's choice.
Also:
Please check your receipt to insure the product is
within the guidelines & the warranty coverage time
period.
Contact us for a Warranty Claim Form via e-mail.
At times the Manufacturer instructs the product to be
sent directly to them or a local warranty repair depot.
This will expedite the return time to you, as it will be
shipped directly back to you. We will certainly be able
to direct you, if this is the case. Warranty, in most
cases, requires the customer to ship the product out
prepaid insured (customer s cost) and the product will
be shipped back to them prepaid insured (manufacturer's
cost).
The warranties are the responsibility of the
manufacturer, but we at Specialty Shooting Sports
Outdoors have handled warranty claims in the past as a
courtesy for our customers. We ask that you, our
customer would ship the product to us after receiving a
Warranty Claim Form filled out and returned with the
product. It will be at this time (after receiving the
filled out form) that we can determine which location to
send your product for the quickest turn around for you
our valued customer.
Most times it is
quicker to return the designated item directly to the
Warranty Depot (Please have your copy of receipt, return
address, and reason for warranty return written inside).

DAMAGED GOODS
All products are
shipped insured and an adult is signature required, no
exceptions.

contact the shipper and follow the necessary
instructions to get your product replaced & returned to
you in the condition it should have been originally.
